But by the 1980s, the internet’s rapid progress had made cross-cultural idea sharing easier, and the trend was quickly gaining popularity. Robert Tan, our founder, saw a growing need for high-quality baked goods in his native Malaysia during this time. There was a clear absence of automation in the baking sector that could close the gap between supply and demand in spite of this demand. Robert saw this as a chance to present cutting-edge technologies that were standard in other developed economies.
In light of this, Robert founded Murni Machinery in 1991 with the goal of empowering bakers through the provision of cutting-edge technology solutions.
